Summer Opportunities

The Whalon Lab currently hires people (undergraduate students and others) for field (and lab) work in the summer. This work includes, but is not limited to, lure production, trap placement and collection, damage surveys, and trap refitting and production. Summer hours vary based upon hours in the field, the need of the graduate students, and the weather.

Undergraduate Opportunites - Year Round

The Whalon Lab employs several undergraduate employees year round. Undergraduates have varied resposibilities that include colony maintainence, data entry, and data analysis. Generally, undergraduate employees work 10 - 15 hours per week; however undergradutes may work up to 29 hours per week depending on availability.
