Dull red to greenish red with a saucer shaped back and very long front legs. Legs are orangeish.
Description of Stages
Stages are similar to those of the European red mite (ERM)

Found feeding primarily on the upper surface of the leaf
Egg Apperance
Eggs are bright red, spherical, and smooth. They are distinguishable from European red mite eggs by the absence of a stalk.
Egg Location
Eggs are deposited on both twigs and leaves, or just on the leaves as the season progresses.
